AgentSuite Adds Agent Skills, Microsoft App Connections and Avatars

VeWorld.ai shipped four updates to AgentSuite this week, and the theme is an agent that needs fewer instructions: it remembers how you want things done, works with the apps your day already runs on, and shows up with a face of its own.

Here’s what changed, and what it means when you’re building an agent.

1. Teach an agent your way with skills

A skill is a way of doing something that you teach an AI agent once, in your own words, and it saves for every time after.

Tell the agent how you want a task handled and it stores that as a skill, then follows it on each run without you repeating the instruction. Your skills are visible only to you, and you can edit or delete any of them.

For example, a creator could teach an agent exactly how they like a weekly summary written for a family member, and have every later summary come back in that shape.

You decide what each skill says, and you can remove it at any time.

2. Connect the apps your agent works in

App connections let an agent work directly in the tools you already use, including Outlook, Outlook Calendar, OneDrive and Microsoft To Do, with more available to connect.

Once connected, the agent can read and act in those apps on your behalf. Ask what your week looks like and it reads the calendar back to you, then creates events with the attendees invited. Tell it to file the document it just wrote into a OneDrive folder you name and it goes there.

For example, a creator could ask an agent to set up the appointments they arrange for a parent each month and drop the paperwork into the right folder afterwards.

You choose which apps the agent is connected to.

3. Scheduled task controls in one place

Scheduled task controls are the menu on every scheduled task for editing it, turning it off, or running it now.

That menu stays usable while the task’s run history is open, so you can see how the last run went and change the timing without moving between screens.

For a creator, that makes a schedule something you adjust as you read it rather than something you set and leave.

4. Give your agent a face with avatars

An avatar is the image that represents your agent wherever people meet it.

Describe the style you want and the agent generates an avatar in around 30 seconds. You can also upload your own image, or pick a colour and show the agent’s initials instead.

For example, a creator could give an agent built for a local group the same look as everything else that group puts out.

What this means for you

Together, these updates address two parts of running an agent: how much you have to tell it, and how much of your day it can reach.

Skills save your way of doing something so you teach it once. App connections let an agent work in Outlook, Outlook Calendar, OneDrive and Microsoft To Do. Scheduled task controls put editing, pausing and running a task next to its run history. Avatars give an agent a face, generated in around 30 seconds or uploaded by you.
